Outlook Web App 2010 - The server operation timed out. Delight try again afterward
A large number of our staff accept been experiencing the error below (see screenshot)http://i52.tinypic.com/2mc8saa.jpg and http://i55.tinypic.com/28hopl4.jpg
for over a week now and I seem to exist getting no where in terms of fixing it. Things i've tried:
Resetting the OWA VD
Ensuring clients are up to appointment with Windows Updates
Uninstalled Sophos (equally a temp measure to run into if that is contributing to it)I've spotted this error in eventvwr on the CAS server, but not really sure if it'southward related or non equally in that location are not too many of them.
Watson report well-nigh to be sent for process id: 8716, with parameters: E12, c-RTL-AMD64, xiv.01.0218.015, OWA, unknown, unknown, System.InvalidOperationException, 0, unknown.
ErrorReportingEnabled: TruthfulDoes anybody have any ideas about what might be causing this or whatever suggestions for troubleshooting?
We are using Exchange 2010 SP1 RU3.

Howdy AdamLooking at the errors, I firstly merely want to confirm, are you having issues with accessing OWA?
If yes, is OWA published externally? Or only internal?
Thanks
Sukh

No... I don't have any problems accessing OWA, they only occur when logged in.
14th March 2011,07:07 PM #6
Once the user is logged in, what actions practise they accept to laissez passer the errors?
Later on the deportment taken, do they have access to their mailbox via OWA?
Do you see any errors on your CAS Server nether the Upshot Logs?
Are there any errors on the PC where you launch OWA from under the Outcome Logs?
If yous option a problematic user, does the effect follow them on every PC they apply?
Does the result occur only on sure PC'due south? Thanks
Sukh

The deportment the users take tend to exist opening an east-post in a new windows, running a spell bank check confronting an e-mail. Once this happens they by and large do still accept access to their mailbox.

The trouble does seem to follow users and isn't occuring on particular PCs as far as I can tell.

If you create a new user with out any windows profile and test OWA on a PC, do you lot even so become the event?
14th March 2011,07:37 PM #9
Don't know, non tried that. Do you remember information technology could be profile related?

Have you lot performed an IISrest /noforce on the CAS?
How many CAS servers practice you have?
14th March 2011,07:xl PM #11
Aye i've done a iisreset /noforce becuase its the final step when resetting the OWA virtual directory. Nosotros have two CAS servers although at the moment only 1 is used to publish OWA. The intention is to load remainder at a later stage.

If your second CAS server isn't being used even so, (I dont know the specifics of your deployment), tin you lot point to the 2d CAS and try that. Not sure if you have a DNS Alias for your CAS server OWA URL or not? If you accept change this.
If not, the utilise set-casmailbox for a specifc user to the 2nd CAS and exam.
Permit me know.
Thank you

14th March 2011,08:13 PM #14
